An Innu originally from Mashteuiatsh on the shores of Lake Pekuakami, lives and works in Tiohtià:ke (Montreal). Soleil is a multidisciplinary artist combining song, movement and theater while passing through performance art, she intertwines the presence of the two-spirited body and experimental audiovisual while being inspired by the cosmogony and sacred spirit of the animals of the Innu world.
